My last family photoshoot in Dubai. But what a cute family to finish with. The Reetz family are of German origin but the girls have been in Dubai their whole lives.
Their parents have also just made the decision to go back home to Germany as the girls are just at school starting ages and it makes sense to do it now rather than later.
But before they go back to Germany permanently, the have a wonderful trip planned. This cute family will be hiring a camper and touring around New Zealand and Australia for a few months. What a wonderful way to start 2018!
Oliver & Celine are both German, but their relationship started in Dubai. Dubai therefore holds many precious memories for them both. This family are definitely sad to say goodbye to Dubai but Germany is where the extended family is and grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins are always important to children.
As this was my last but one shoot in Dubai before we flew back to Cape Town, I found that it was also quite sentimental to me too.
Oliver and Celine had requested a beach photoshoot. I suggested that we had a sunrise photoshoot on the beach in front of the Burj Al Arab. This is the second most iconic building in Dubai. A perfect setting for our last family photoshoot in Dubai.
Celine and Oliver are wonderful, caring parents. Katie and Lucy are secure and confident little girls. Both are confident enough to venture out on their own and adventurous enough to run into the sea. A wave knocking them over was not a problem. They got back up and did it again!
It was a pleasure to do this photoshoot for this gorgeous family. I definitely hope to see them sometime in the near future, either in Germany or Cape Town.
