Tracey & Glenn
Tracey & Glenn will be getting married in April in the Frranschoek area in front of all their friends and family.
This gorgeous couple was introduced to each other a year ago by a mutual friend and hit it off almost immediately.
Glenn proposed to Tracey in the Kirstenbosch Gardens. Tracey and Glenn wished to have their engagement photos done there and a few more at Signal Hill.
Needless to say, Cape Town weather threw us a curve ball and rain was threatened. It started off fresh and bright at Kirstenbosch but within 30 minutes, the weather turned nasty.
This gorgeous couple stoically carried on without one word of complaint. Never once did they wish the threatening rain away. Cape Town is currently experiencing one of the worst droughts in history and we are very desperate for rain.
The irony was that they both work in Johannesburg and this was the only free weekend that they could do their engagement shoot. They definitely both earned my immense respect that day. We soldiered on regardless of the freezing cold weather.
The sad part is that it actually never rained that evening. It definitely felt like a winters day and the clouds were very threatening but unfortunately not a drop fell.
Tracey has an ethereal beauty about her. She is tiny and delicate and will without a doubt be a beautiful bride but against the elements, she froze! Needless to say, I took mercy on her and hurriedly got the shots we needed on Signal Hill.
She was definitely wishing for a hot bath but unfortunately that is a luxury in Cape Town that no one can afford.
I am excited to see this beautiful couple tie the knot in April. So definitely keep an eye out for this beautiful wedding.
